SOLID REAL WOOD SHUTTERS
Our real wood shutters are made from a combination of basswood and poplar wood products to ensure durability and a long life span. These shutters are solid wood. Our factory has been manufacturing wood shutters since 1985 and they work great in all areas of the house except the shower. SOLID POLY SHUTTERS
Our poly shutters are made from solid poly materials. Unlike the hollow vinyl or vinyl wrapped shutters on the market today, our Poly Shutters offer exceptional insulation from heat and cold, due to use of solid poly material. The surface material of a vinyl shutter or vinyl wrapped louver is only 1/16” thick. Lancaster® Poly Shutters are over 7/16” of solid poly material. This solid 7/16” thickness vs. 1/16” surface material creates more insulation and protection from the elements. Additionally, our poly shutters are painted with UV inhibiting paint, guaranteeing UV protection for several times the life span of hollow or vinyl wrapped products. Another major benefit for the poly shutters is that they have the least flammable rating and can be installed in hotels, schools, and other facilities requiring flame retardant products.

Do you manufacture your own shutters?
Yes. We manufacture all of our shutters at our factory in the Inland Empire in Southern California.
Do you charge for an in-home consultation?
No. The in-home consultations are free. We will show you samples of our products and measure all the openings.
What is your turn-around time?
Our lead time is usually around 2-4 weeks.
Will the wood shutters warp or yellow over time?
No. Our wood shutters are stronger than a synthetic product and will not warp over time, nor will they yellow or fade.
Which product is cheaper – wood or poly shutters?
Our wood shutters are less expensive than the poly.
Are the shutters custom made?
Yes. Each shutter is hand-crafted to your exact specifications.
Are the shutters very expensive?
Surprisingly, No. We purchase large volumes of wood components and so we are able to keep our costs low, and pass the savings on to you. We work with a very slim profit margin in order to keep the shutters affordable.
